World-Class Pools And Water Fun At Our Wailea Hotel Resort
The Grand Wailea Resort Hotel & Spa hosts poolside activities every afternoon from 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm. Poolside workshops are held every afternoon at our Wailea hotel, at the poolside activity desk. Workshops include Puka shell necklace, Hawaiian wood creations, Hibiscus Kukui Nut Necklace, Paint and Send a Coconut, T-shirt Tie Dye, Hawaiian Scrapbooking, and much more. All ages are welcome and reservations are not required.
Our Wailea Hawaii hotel boasts incredible water features offering both relaxation and fun. Our Activity Pool is for the kid in everyone, with waterslides, rapids, a rope swing and more -- while our elegant Hibiscus Pool, reserved for adults, offers tranquil views of the Pacific and the chance to relax while basking in the sun. Hibiscus Pool
The 4,850-square-foot Hibiscus Pool is named for the giant mosaic tile Hibiscus flower that graces the bottom.
The Hibiscus flower is made from over 630,000 pieces of Mexican glass mosaic tile. The entire pool contains over 2.2 million individual tiles and features two Jacuzzis. This pool is reserved for guests 18 years of age and older.
Wailea Canyon Activity Pool
This multi-faceted, 2,000-foot-long, 25,700-total-square-foot, 770,000-gallon pool consists of nine free-form pools at six levels -- beginning at 40 feet and dropping to sea level. The pools are connected by a river that carries swimmers along at varying speeds, from whitewater rapids to lazy currents.
Wailea Canyon includes four jungle pools, four tile slides, a whitewater rapids slide, a Tarzan pool with rope swing, the world's only water elevator, a sand beach, six waterfalls, caves, three Jacuzzis, a sauna, an infant pool, and a swim-up bar, where guests can order refreshing beverages.
Cabana/Casabella
Activity Pool Cabanas, Hibiscus Pool Cabanas, and Lawn Casabellas can be reserved up to one year in advance, at the time of booking of your room reservation. Full Deposits for cabanas and casabellas are taken at time of booking.
Cabana Reservations staff assigns cabanas and casabellas the day prior to arrival. Preferences are taken, although location is not guaranteed. Guests will receive a confirmation call of their cabana or casabella location by 6pm the evening prior.
To cancel or change cabana or casabella reservations you must do so by 6:00 pm the evening prior to your reservation. If a cabana or casabella reservation is not cancelled by 6:00 pm the day prior you will forfeit a one-day deposit. No shows for cabanas and casabellas are charged 100% of the current rate.

Note: Children must meet a height requirement of 46" or taller to utilize Lava Slide and Ana Puka Slide.

Pool Hours:
All pool areas are open from 7:00 am – 10:00 pm. Slides are open daily from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.
